Boracay

boracayIf there’s a search for the best beach in the world, nothing’s gonna beat Boracay!!!

White sand, clear water, great food, wonderful entertainment, hospitable people and a very relaxing place….that’s what Boracay is known for.

Located at the Panay group of islands or let me say, a 15-20 minute boat ride from the Jetty port in Caticlan, Boracay island is accessible to everyone. If you’re in Manila, you can take a plane for 45 minutes dropping you at Kalibo or Caticlan. If you have some sort of flying phobia, you can also go via ship which will drop you in Caticlan but you have to spend a night cruisin. I have tried both, and to tell you frankly, I enjoyed having a night in a ship coz I had the chance of meeting new friends aboard.

Boracay stretches at approximately 7 kilometers wherein 4 of it is lined with resorts, hotels, lodgings, restaurants, souvenir shops and other establishments that relates. There is a wide range of shops to choose from, food of different cultures but of course, you’ll be liking the seafoods as they are really fresh. You can also have your own recipe and cook it at your cottages if you don’t feel like eating somewhere else as there’s a clean market available.

Transportation around the island is by motorcycles but most visitors prefer walking along the beachfront path to feel the warm of the Boracay sand in their feet while dropping a minute at every store to buy something.

There are also some things to enjoy the water like boatrides, jetskis, snorkels, or you can even take some short diving courses while you’re at it.

Boracay is really a wonderful part of the Paradise Philippines.
