Tagaytay

November 4th, 2007 · 1 Comment

Next to Baguio, Tagaytay is paradise philippines’s 2nd summer capital with it’s cold temperature even in hot season. Around 1-2 hours drive from Manila, Tagaytay is certainly a top tourist destination with its majestic view of the Taal, world’s smallest volcano and the beautiful view of the lake sorrounding it.

Tagaytay is also know as a haven of the best tasting fruits wherein you can buy a lot along the major roads. Upon visiting, you can stay at the Taal Vista Lodge Hotel for the best rates and provides a great scenic view. It is also near The Gardens wherein you can have your picnic or buffet lunch.

Along it’s narrow roads, you can find a lot of people offering boat rides bound to the Taal volcano. The best thing is to try it early morning so you can do a trek up to the new or old craters of the volcano. For around Php1000, you can enjoy this adventure. Then go to the Taal Volcano Science House to know more about Taal Volcano, just a few kilometers away from Talisay, a small town in the shores of the Taal Lake.
