Tagaytay

17 March 2009

It was my mom’s birthday last weekend and we brought her to Tagaytay as she has never been there before the entire 60 years of her life.

We arrived lunch there, ate at Leslies Restaurant which is one of the most famous eating place in Tagaytay, with Bulalo as their specialty. Leslies Restaurant is a good place to stop over with their beautiful overlooking of the Taal Lake and Volcano in the back.

From Leslies, we went to the Peoples park where my little kid went on horse-back riding. We also went watching people do the zip line and the ones in the cable car.

See pictures below.

Hi. I was wondering if it is possible to enjoy Tagaytay with no service. Are transportations available? :)

Me and my best friend are planning to go sometime this month. But we are in doubt since we do not have a car to bring along with us, we might not get to enjoy the beauty Tagaytay would offer. :c Please do help. :c

Thank you so much. Id be really grateful for a reply. :)

Oh. and where is Leslie’s Restaurant? And is the Cable car open for public? Is it not part of the exclusive club of Tagaytay Highlands?

Sorry for the trouble sir, and Thank you in advance. Please please please do reply.. :)

Yes there is. You can take a van from Buendia-Taft, just below the lrt station or go for a bus in Baclaran. Then when you’re in Tagaytay, there are jeepneys available or tricycles that can send you wherever you want to.

Cable car is open for public, costs around 150-250 (can’t remember exactly). Just ask the jeepney or anyone in Tagaytay, they surely know where Leslie’s is..
