Swimming Pool in Pansol Laguna: Luisa Ridge
Weather is too hot – sign that it is summer time! And summer means swimming!!!
Yesterday, we went to Pansol, Laguna – the swimming pool capital of the Philippines. We had a hard time looking for a private pool as most of them were already occupied so we went to Luisa Ridge (formerly Bato-bato), a public pool in Pansol, Laguna but really a good one.
Luisa Ridge has 2 big swimming pools, one in the lower part wherein the ones who will not stay overnight goes and can accomodate 500 persons, and one in the upper part for people who will stay longer which can accomodate 300 persons. They also have private pools that can accomodate 12 persons for Php7000.00. I paid Php3,000.00 for Cuartos (a room for 4 pax), Php800.00 for Cabana (a spacious shed near the pool made of bamboo which can contain 12 persons) and Php280.00 as entrance fee (Php70.00 per head x 4). That’s all I paid for an overnight stay. For our food, a 5-10 minute drive to the market and I had inihaw na tilapia, bulalo, liempo, fried chicken and bangus for lunch and dinner and a 3 minute drive to Jollibee for breakfast.
Luisa Ridge is a 3 hectare resort located at the foot of Mt. Makilling in Bgy. Pansol, Laguna, less than an hour drive from Manila.
