Last March 17 and 18, I was in Pansacola Beach resort in Cagbalete island, Mauban Quezon with a huge number of mountaineers from the group Let’s Unite all the Climbers in the Philippines (LUCP).

My company, Panalo.ph was one of the sponsors in the said event, and as a mountaineering enthusiast myself, I was invited to come to the event by its founder Benj Magkalas, who is also a search engine optimization specialist like me.

I brought my wife and my kids with me to enjoy the beauty of the island. Our group chartered 3 bus and 2 boats to be there, but to give you an idea of expenses, here’s a run down:

Manila to Lucena via Lucena Grand Terminal= P210
Lucena to Mauban via Lucena Grand Terminal = P50
Boat Chatered = P150 x 20 pax
Boat Public = P40 (10AM and 3PM Mauban to Cagbalete 7AM and 1PM Cagbalete to Mauban)

You can set up a tent within the shore by paying 200 per person or you can rent a cottage within Pansacola.
