Mannangs is one of my top food destination whenever I go to Mall of Asia, most especially when I’m with my sister.

The food there is great, serving native Filipino delicacies. The best food there for me is their kare-kare and baked oyster while fried fish fillet for my wife.

Mannangs is located at the north wing, front of the sm hypermarket, right beside Mann Hann.

I brought my wife and her family to Aling Tonyas Seafood Paluto Restaurant earlier for dinner. We always go here if we look for some seafoods to eat, good place, good service, food is great and most of all, it’s 5-minutes away from our house. Aling Tonyas Paluto is located in Seaside Macapagal Boulevard, that’s 5 minutes away from SM Mall of Asia and a minute away from Buendia-Roxas Boulevard.

Here’s a list of the food we ordered:

  • baked tahong (baked mussels)
  • kinilaw na talaba (oyster cooked in vinegar, it’s not really cooking since there is no heat involved)

I have made a quick round up earlier of what I think is the top reasons why one should visit Paradise Philippines. Here’s what came in my list:

Pinoy Food:

  • Sinigang – often incorporates stewed fish, pork, chicken, shrimp, or beef and is usually prepared with tamarind, tomato, leek, taro and onion. Other vegetables cooked in sinigang may include okra, spinach, radish, green pepper and string beans.
  • Adobo – typically made from pork or chicken or a combination of both. It is slow-cooked in soy sauce, vinegar, crushed garlic, bay leaf, and black peppercorns, and often browned in the oven or pan-fried afterwards to get the desirable crisped edges.
