Summer is fast approaching so it’s time to find new places to chill and relax. If you’re looking for a beach resort not far from Manila, Noveleta, Cavite is one that you may consider. Yesterday, as I was in a search for a beach to have my kids swim for a while and hoping that their cough will be cured (payo ng matatanda), I ended up in Villamar Beach Resort in Noveleta, Cavite. Last Saturday, I was in Kalipayan Resort & Hotel again for a gathering with fellow seophilippines members led by Edward Santillan who just came from Dubai. Last week, I was in Kalipayan Resort in Dasmariñas, Cavite with a friend from Germany who visited Manila. It was a nice resort which can be found along Aguinaldo Hiway. Kalipayan Resort has a hotel with 18 Rooms – each with its own living room & bath, cable TV, airconditioning, and phone system with IDD and NDD Calls. It has a 900-meter swimming pool with an island lounge area in one of its side and a restaurant and bar on the other side.
