I have made a quick round up earlier of what I think is the top reasons why one should visit Paradise Philippines. Here’s what came in my list:
Pinoy Food:
An island with a figure of a man’s face on its side, white sand and green-clear waters compose one of the hidden beauty of the Paradise Philippines…..the Capones Island! It is also known for an old lighthouse built during the Spanish era which will bring you back in time for sure.
With a 5 hours drive from Manila to San Antonio, Zambales…going to Capones Island is a bit tiring but one of a kind adventure. It is located exactly as part of Barangay Pundaquit in San Antonio, Zambales. From the shores of Pundaquit, it’s a 15-minute boat ride before reaching the island’s beachfront.
If there’s a search for the best beach in the world, nothing’s gonna beat Boracay!!!
White sand, clear water, great food, wonderful entertainment, hospitable people and a very relaxing place….that’s what Boracay is known for.
Located at the Panay group of islands or let me say, a 15-20 minute boat ride from the Jetty port in Caticlan, Boracay island is accessible to everyone. If you’re in Manila, you can take a plane for 45 minutes dropping you at Kalibo or Caticlan. If you have some sort of flying phobia, you can also go via ship which will drop you in Caticlan but you have to spend a night cruisin. I have tried both, and to tell you frankly, I enjoyed having a night in a ship coz I had the chance of meeting new friends aboard.

The Philippines is composed of 7,107 islands and is one of the largest archipelago in the world extending 1,152 mi from north to south and 688 mi from east to west fenced by the Philippine sea on the east, Celebes sea on the south and South China sea on the western part producing an extensive coastline (longest discontinous in the world) with approximately 2000 species of fish.
